wonderful capture well away from your norm it is good to see artists branch out to something they usually do not do and excel at it.

Things like this are intriguing. I was out doing a shoot once and I came across a dead dog on location. It was pretty ripe and nasty. This one is pretty far gone. Death at this state is sometimes peaceful.

I wanted to photograph the dog I saw but it was swarming with flies of every species. Get to close to a fresh corpse and some of the big horse flies will start eating at your flesh too, plus I kind of felt bad for the dog.

Turkey vultures started to feed on it as well and those birds have a 6-7 foot wing span so I decided not to get very close. Sometimes you just have to let nature do its thing and respect it, if that makes any sense.

nice work.

Love it. That's a fantastic shot.

I personally put up a shot of a dead deer and DA removed it from my site.

ON the plus side, I'm sure this model wasn't too high-maintenance. :) Odd thing to have a dead pup hire you for your work, but.. I like how it came out. The warm tones and all.

Just feel sorry for the dog, tho.

Mummies are always so fascinating...I wish i could have photographed a mummified bat I discovered while doing spring cleaning but apparently quick scavengers got to it before I could come back with my camera (sigh).
