ain't all art by scottchurch ain't all art by scottchurch
sometimes it's pure capitalism. i've been working on a project for the bar down the street. i love doing stuff for local bars and restaurants because it means i will always have a place to go where i will be treated really good. call it padding my own seat, but i think it's the little things that make life good.

i still think i did a pretty good job, no matter the purpose. lighting a bar to make it still look like a bar, especially one with almost no natural light, is a tough job no matter what. then add in a group of subjects that all want to look perfect, (deservedly so), and you gots yourself a good puzzle.

well they're no hooters girls but they'll do. great idea on photographing local bars, nice way of advertising the spot and getting yourself some free food and drinks if not better food and service.

I'd love to see some more of the beautiful model on the far left! Overall great job though! Looks like it should be in a Budweiser Calendar.

Really great shot. I can only imagine how difficult this lighting must have been. It's a beautiful pic. Keep up the great work.

Hell, that IS a great shot.

And I'm not usually one to be suckered by advertising. But I would probably go for a drink at that place.

Mission accomplised sir.

What with always finding myself in crappy lighting situations as well, I think you did a fine job. Mind you, for myself, I'm entirely dependent on a lowly SB-600 at the moment :P
